Mount Everest

  •  Grows about one-forth of an inch every year

The Great Pyramid of Giza

  • An Ancient Wonder of the World
  • World’s largest pyramid, at 481 feet high
  • Built out of 2.3 million blocks of stones
  •  Built for Pharaoh Khufu
  • The Sphinx is the oldest statue of the ancient world, shaped with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh

The Great Barrier Reef

  • A Natural Wonder of the World
  • The World’s largest reef system–1,250 miles long
  • An intricate symbiotic ecosystem in the Coral Sea, home to millions of sea creatures
